Material Used in the 360-Panoramic Tripod Head

The 360-Panoramic tripod head is constructed of stainless steel metal and copper for sturdiness and durability. As such, the 360-Panoramic tripod head will not rust.

Precision metal cutting machines are used to manufacture the 360-Panoramic. The panoramic tripod head is cut and machined from blocks of stainless steel and copper into the desired shapes for the bracket. The 360-Panoramic tripod head is manufactured in Malaysia.

360-Panoramic Brackets

The 360-Panoramic bracket consists of an L-bracket and a straight bracket. All brackets are made from stainless steel. The brackets will not rust and provides strong and sturdy support for bigger cameras like a DSLR cameras. In addition, brackets made of stainless steel can be made small in order to takes up less room in the camera bag.

Note that during assembly, the L-bracket does not have to be locked at a right angle (90 degrees) to the straight bracket. However, the nodal point of the camera lens should be at the rotating point of the 360-Panoramic head. Consult the user’s manual for further description.

360-Panoramic Rotating Head

The 360-Panoramic rotating head is made of copper and will not rust. The bottom of the 360-Panoramic rotating head has a 1/4”-20 thread size (the same thread size that is on a camera’s tripod mount) that will mount on any tripod that mounts a camera. That is, the 360-Panormic ball head can be mounted on any tripod that a camera can be mounted on.

Nuts and Bolts

Nuts and bolts shipped with the 360-Panoramic bracket are not made of stainless steel material. Nuts and bolds shipped with the 360-Panoramic bracket are normal nuts and bolds bought from the local hardware store.

Packaging and Shipping

The 360-Panoramic is shipped as shown in the picture below. The steel (stainless steel and copper) is not buffed and polished to a shinny look in order to keep costs low. The steel, however, is strong and sturdy, and will not wobble when mounted on an SLR camera.

packaging

There will be no packaging box that will be used to package the 360-Panoramic tripod head for shipping (this will, again, keep costs low). You do not really need a box to protect the parts since the parts are made of steel. Further, the packaging envelope from the freight forwarder provides enough protection for the parts. The tripod head is shipped exactly as you see in the picture above.
